CANCER

I came to coaching as a direct result of my own breast cancer.
After treatment ended I needed to integrate the experience into my
post-cancer life.  Coaching, and specifically coaching people with cancer
has been a way to focus my gratitude for life, share wisdom and learn from
others.

Once the schedules, appointments and treatment have ended you are left
alone with your thoughts and the realization that you are not the same
person you were prior to cancer.

At some point in your own recovery it may hit you -- I
had CANCER!

How do you acknowledge that new person?
How do you negotiate relationships that surely have changed? How do you
support your family in this new phase of life?
What lessons have you learned?
What do you desire now that you have survived cancer?
What about the fear that awakens you in the middle of the night?

In addition to personal coaching around cancer, I offer lectures and
workshops to support groups, symposia or conferences nation-wide.
CANCER
If  you have
been diagnosed
with cancer:

This is YOUR
cancer.  Your
reactions are
valid. Proceed
step by step as
you gather
information and
arrange
treatment.

Ask questions
and when you
reach overload,
stop for the
day.  Turn off
the computer,
get some fresh
air and breathe.

Remember,
people are well
intentioned but
you are allowed
to set limits and
boundaries.
